The Regional Campus,Tirur is one among the earliest regional campuss established by the University. It started functioning in November, 1993 with courses at Post Graduate and Under Graduate level. The campus is located in an area that possesses a great historical as well as cultural relevance. Commenting on the relevance of the campus, it is situated in an area having higher concentration of Minority community who belong to socially and educationally backward classes. The campus offers one UG course called B.A Sanskrit Vyakarana and eight PG courses namely MA Sanskrit Sahitya, MA Sanskrit Vyakarana, MA History, MA Philosophy, MA English, MA Malayalam, MA Hindi, MA Arabic and MSW.
