The faculty members have to credit published works. The department has the honour to conduct five National Seminars and one Workshop. The main question thrown up in the Seminars and Workshops is concerned with language and its learning issues. Scholars from different Universities of India have taken part and presented their papers. The Seminars have attracted the media and drawn good response from the different parts of kerala.
