PhD Programmes
- First six months of the Programme are earmarked for Course Work. Course Work consists of two Core Courses and one Elective Course based on the research topic of the Scholar. Admission to the Programme is based on an entrance examination and relevance and feasibility of the research proposal submitted by the candidate.
M.Phil Programmes
- Duration of the programme is one year divided into two Semesters. First Semester consists of three courses (two being Core Courses and one Elective Course). Second Semester is earmarked for the Dissertation Work apart from a Seminar Course. Admission to the Programme is based on an entrance examination.
Post Graduate Programmes
- This study programme is designed under Credit and Semester system. The duration of the programme is two years consisting of four Semesters. During the period of the programme a student has to secure 64 credits. The programme consists of 11 Core Courses and 5 Elective Courses in which two courses are Multidisciplinary. Out of these multidisciplinary courses, at least one must be a Sanskrit course. Admission to the M.A programme is based on an entrance examination.
