Sree Sankaracharya University of Sanskrit, Kalady launched postgraduate courses in Comparative Literature in 2003. The Centre comes under the Faculty of Indian Languages and focuses on Comparative Indian Literature, highlighting Indian and Western literatures and cultures in the era of globalization.
Learning literatures across national and cultural boundaries in a broad humanistic context to understand the essential unity of human consciousness and to develop critical thinking across linguistic and cultural contexts.
